From 1 July 2009 Public Trustee NSW became known as NSW Trustee and Guardian. The organisation will continue to provide professional service as it has done in the past. All Public Trustee NSW business and legal documents will remain valid.
The Public Trustee NSW, now the NSW Trustee and Guardian was established by an Act of Parliament in 1913 and has been assisting the people of NSW for over 95 years. An experienced asset manager, the NSW Trustee and Guardian is responsible for the making of Wills, acts as Executor in deceased estates, manages Trusts and provides Powers of Attorney.
Commencing operations in 1914, we have made over 900,000 Wills and administered 220,000 estates. We currently provide legal and financial services to over 27,000 clients annually.
