Public Trustee's Investment Profile:
Public Trustee NSW offers corporate clients a simple and flexible facility to place funds with access to fixed interest or growth portfolios. The Public Trustee currently has in excess of $1.25 billion assets under management and offers a low risk opportunity for investment growth.
The Public Trustee has two Common Fund Portfolios:
The Common Fund Primary Portfolio
The Common Fund Primary Portfolio is invested in a variety of Fixed Interest Investment and, at 30 June 2006, over $861 million was held in the Primary Portfolio. The monies held in the Primary Portfolio are “at call” and are capital guaranteed.

The Common Fund Growth/ Indexed Australian Share Portfolio
Its aim is to provide both capital and income growth to protect the trust fund and the income generated by it, against the effects of inflation offering low cost entry, administration and exit fees. It also receives the benefits of Imputed Tax (Franking) Credits which are then passed on to the unit-holders.
At 30 June 2006 there were over 196 million units on issue. This was an increase of over 12 million during the year. The price of the units fluctuates with the net market value of the shares in which the funds are invested. They are valued weekly. There is no capital guarantee. Exposure to international equities is being considered to spread the risks into wider markets.
