Code of Conduct

Public Sector employees have a unique obligation to work in the public interest. They are required to maintain standards of professional behaviour which will maintain public confidence and trust. This extends to every person engaged by Public Trustee NSW to provide services, information or advice. The Code of Conduct and Ethics sets out expected standards of behaviour and ethics from Public Trustee staff.

Policy and Procedures for Acceptance of Gifts and Benefits

Public Trustee NSW recognises that staff members will on occasion receive offers of gifts and benefits. The document Policy and Procedures for Acceptance of Gifts and Benefits outlines Public Trustee policy and provides guidelines to help staff know what is acceptable and the procedures they need to follow in accepting, rejecting and recording gifts and benefits.
